Pertemps Isle of Wight are recruiting on behalf of a local College in Newport for a full-time Permanent Receptionist. This role involves delivering a high-quality front desk service and providing key administrative support across the College.
Key responsibility for this receptionist role:- Answer incoming calls and responding to voicemails promptly
- Greet visitors professionally and manage the sign-in/out process, following safeguarding procedures
- Receive, sign for, and distribute post and deliveries
- Maintain and organise servicing of the franking machine
- Monitor and manage the general admin email inbox
- Provide general administrative support
- Book meeting rooms and co-ordinate hospitality
- Support whole-school events and assist the admin team
- Act as Fire Marshal during evacuations
- Assist with general clerical tasks as required
Requirements for this receptionist role:- Strong communication and administration skills
- Confident using phones, email, and Microsoft Office
- Friendly, professional, and organised
- Previous school administration or reception experience is a bonus
The Role:- This role is working Monday to Thursday 8am-4pm and Fridays 8am-3.30pm
- You will be reporting to the Deputy Administration Manager
- This role is term time plus 1 day
- This position is paying £12.85 per hour
