Job Description

Waste Operative – Immediate Start (2-Month Contract)

We are currently recruiting for a Waste Operative on behalf of a third-party client for an immediate start. This is a temporary role for 2 months, with the potential for flexibility in working hours based on site requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Litter picking and general yard maintenance
Operating doors to allow HGV access to the tipping hall
Assisting with other light duties around the yard as required

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Total: 37 hours per week (minimum)
Hours may be adjusted weekly based on site activity but will not fall below 37 hours per week

Pay Rate:

£13.63 per hour (HC03 grade)
