Job Description
Our specialist fasteners based client are looking for someone to join their team on the shop floor.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience using Fanuc controls (essential)
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes for special fasteners
- Experience operating 2-axis lathes
- Advantageous to have experience setting/operating milling machines
- Skilled in working with both bar-fed and chucking lathes
- Proficient in product inspection, using gauges and precision measuring equipment
- Experience with fitting and boring soft jaws
- Ability to change tips and adjust/move offsets
- Capable of operating multiple machines simultaneously
- Self-motivated with a positive, “can-do” attitude
- Strong team player with good interpersonal skills
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to maintain focus under pressure
Pay Rate:
£14 - £16ph (Dependant on experience)
Working hours:
7:00am - 16:00pm (Monday - Thursday)
7:00 - 16:00pm (Friday)
