Wolverhampton | £13.00 p/h | Temp to Perm | Immediate Start
Pertemps Wolverhampton is recruiting on behalf of a long-standing engineering and manufacturing client based in Wolverhampton. We are searching for an experienced CNC Milling Machine Operative with a strong background in precision machining.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting and operating CNC milling machines (e.g. Haas, Fanuc, Mazak, Hurco, Heidenhain)
- Machining metal components to specification using milling equipment
- Reading and interpreting engineering and technical drawings
- Using measuring equipment (verniers, micrometers, gauges) for quality inspection
- Maintaining accuracy, tolerances, and production targets
- Following health & safety and manufacturing procedures
Essential Experience & Skills:
- Proven CNC milling experience (manual and/or CNC)
- Ability to work from engineering drawings and job specifications
- Background in precision engineering, metal manufacturing, or machining
- Experience with materials such as mild steel, aluminium, stainless steel, etc.
- Understanding of tooling, offsets, feeds/speeds, and machine setups
Hours & Pay:
- Monday to Friday – 7:30am to 4:30pm
- £13.00 per hour (temp to perm)
- Immediate start available
