CNC Operative

Location: Wolverhampton
Pay Rate: From £13.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm

Pertemps are currently recruiting for a CNC Operative on behalf of our client based in Wolverhampton.

The successful candidate will have previous experience operating CNC lathes and milling machines and be confident working within a busy production environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating CNC lathes and milling machines in accordance with production requirements.
  
  
• Producing components to the required specifications and quality standards.
  
  
• Carrying out routine quality checks and reporting any defects or issues.
  
  
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
  
  
• Adhering to all company health and safety procedures.
  
  
• Working effectively as part of a team to achieve production targets and deadlines.
  
  

 

Candidate Requirements:

• A minimum of 12 months' experience operating CNC lathes and milling machines.
  
  
• Previous CNC setting experience is advantageous but not essential.
  
  
• Good understanding of health and safety practices within a manufacturing environment.
  
  
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  
  
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  
  
• Reliable, punctual, and motivated with a positive attitude towards work.
