Production / Delivery Co-ordinator
Location: Wolverhampton
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
Hours: Monday to Thursday

7:00am – 5:00pm
Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour

Production / Delivery Co-ordinatorPertemps are currently recruiting for a Production / Delivery Co-ordinator to join a busy production operation based in Wolverhampton. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity for someone who is organised, reliable and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating production activities, preparing goods for despatch and ensuring deliveries are processed accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Picking finished goods and components from stock in line with production requirements.

    • Following FIFO stock control procedures.

    • Updating inventory and job costs using company ERP systems.

    • Carrying out product conversions in line with production instructions and SOPs.

    • Applying batch numbers and completing all required quality and traceability paperwork.

    • Packing finished goods securely for shipment.

    • Preparing goods onto pallets where required.

    • Booking transport with approved delivery partners.

    • Preparing and printing shipping and delivery paperwork.

    • Providing tracking information to relevant departments and customers.

    • Processing shipments through internal systems and updating external systems with tracking details.

    • Escalating stock shortages, damages or issues to the relevant teams.

    • Supporting other areas of production when required.

The Ideal CandidateThe successful candidate will have:

 

  • Previous experience in a production, warehouse, logistics or despatch environment.

    • Excellent organisational and coordination skills.

    • The ability to manage multiple production and delivery deadlines.

    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

    • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

    • Experience using ERP or stock management systems.

    • The ability to follow procedures and SOPs consistently.

    • A proactive approach and the ability to work well under pressure.

 

Experience within manufacturing, picking, packing or shipping would be advantageous but is not essential.
