Fabricator

Pertemps West Bromwich are currently looking for Fabricators for our manufacturing client in Oldbury.
 
Duties:

• Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications
  
  
• Cut, form, weld, and assemble metal or other materials accurately
  
  
• Operate fabrication tools and machinery safely (e.g., saws, presses, welders)
  
  
• Measure and inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
  
  
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  
  
• Work independently or as part of a team to meet production deadlines
  
  
• Report any faults, defects, or safety concerns to supervisors
  
  

 


Hours of work:


There are 2 shifts available, day shift is 08:00am-16:30pm Monday-Friday and night shift is 19:30pm-06:00am Monday-Thursday, both shifts have overtime available to the correct candidate.


 


Rate of pay:


The pay rate varies dependant on experience ranging from £12.21-£17/£18 


 


Our client are looking to get in the correct candidates and would be willing to provide training providing there's a basic understanding/experience of the fabrication process.
