The RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join a growing service team. You will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and repair of diesel generators across customer sites and the company’s rental fleet. The role is customer-facing and requires strong technical capability alongside a professional and approachable manner.

Skills & Experience Required- Relevant qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Diesel Fitting, or Plant Maintenance (e.g. City & Guilds, BTEC), or
- Completion of a recognised mechanical or electrical apprenticeship
- Proven experience servicing and repairing diesel generator sets
- Experience with brands such as FG Wilson, Cummins, or similar is essential
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Previous field service experience (preferred)
- Full UK driving licence
- Customer-focused with strong communication skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a wider team
- ECS/CSCS or CCNSG card desirable (training can be provided)
