Job Description
Location: Kingpin Industrial Estate, Tyseley, Birmingham
Pay rate: £12.52 per hour
Working hours: 8am-4pm/ 9am-5pm Mon-Fri (Fully office based)
Are you an experienced Administrative Specialist looking for a new opportunity? We're currently seeking a talented individual to join a leading warehouse site in Kingpin Industrial Estate.
About the Role: As an Administrative Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of administrative functions within the warehouse. From procurement to visitor coordination, documentation management, and scheduling, you'll be at the heart of efficient operations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Purchase Orders for essential supplies and services.
- Up-hold and build relationships with customers.
- Attend meetings, maintain action logs, and ensure follow-up on action items.
- Resolve issues in line with SLA's.
- Organize and store documents while ensuring compliance.
- Develop and update work instructions and documentation.
- Create and manage schedules for warehouse activities.
- Order necessary supplies and manage inventory levels.
- Proven administrative experience, preferably in a warehouse environment.
- Understanding of procurement processes and document management.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and administrative software.
