The role of Programme Co-Ordinator - Academy is located in a lovely open plan office with roof terrace which has fantastic views of Bristol.
You will be working Monday - Friday 37.5 hour working week and receive a salary of circa £21,000 depending on experience + the benefits listed above!
Working with colleagues in the Academy and wider education team, you will primarily be responsible for enrolling prospective learners onto the appropriate qualifications and ensuring a high quality, consistent service throughout their learner journey. You will be key in ensuring that learners receive appropriate information and academic and ICT support throughout their studies and that the Academy programme runs effectively.
Main Duties will include:
The Learner Journey; Provide services to an agreed framework for the learner journey including induction to the Academy, academic progression for Module Leaders and Tutors, provide regular communication to learners regarding their programme of study ensuring relevant and consistent messaging for all learners, act as a point of contact for academic queries, record and process academic requests from learners, tutors and module leaders. You will also provide guidance or refer to the Academy Manager/Head of Academy and ensure accurate records are maintained, manage and respond to learner complaints/specific requests liaising with the Academy Manager or Academic Adviser, if required.
Academic Administration; To act as the first point of contact for student enquiries, distribute relevant course information, liaise with module leaders and tutors to ensure that they are grouped and timetabled appropriately, process any timetable, specification, handbook and other changes, OLE (Online Learning Environment) and scheduled tuition sessions, process any programme related expenses, create, circulate and collate results of and monitor progress of learner feedback surveys, produce learner feedback, communicate and manage deadlines for module leaders, maintain appropriate programme records for quality assurance and all programme documentation, ensure learners have appropriate access to resources and books, contribute to the development of appropriate programme systems and processes, monitor application numbers and viability of upcoming module intakes, liaise with finance department to monitor course fee payment.
The Ideal Candidate:
It is vital you are people-focussed with evidence of highly effective customer service skills, ability to manage problems and find appropriate solutions and effective IT skills.
Educated to degree level education or equivalent, with experience of operational organisation including developing new systems and processes ideally within an academic environment.
This role is Bristol based but may require some national travel and you will be required to have a full clean UK driving license and your own car.
