Claims Handler
Bristol (Hybrid) | Competitive Salary + Excellent Benefits
We're recruiting for an experienced Claims Handler to join a specialist claims team managing professional indemnity matters on behalf of insurer clients.
You'll be responsible for handling claims from first notification through to resolution, investigating claims, reviewing coverage, liaising with stakeholders, negotiating settlements, and ensuring excellent client service throughout.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage a caseload of professional indemnity claims
• Investigate claims and assess liability and exposure
• Review policy coverage and prepare insurer reports
• Negotiate settlements within delegated authority
• Maintain accurate claims and case management records
• Ensure compliance with SLAs, KPIs and insurer requirements
About You
• Previous claims handling experience
• Strong technical and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Commercial and client-focused approach
• Ability to manage competing priorities effectively
