Maintenance Shift Engineer📍 Wednesbury | 💷 £40,385 | 4 On / 4 Off Days & Nights

Looking for a maintenance role where no two shifts are the same?

Join our engineering team and play a key role in keeping our busy manufacturing site running. If you're a mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer with electrical fault-finding skills, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

• Planned preventative and reactive maintenance
  
  
• Fault finding and repairs on a range of production equipment including:
  
  
  • Conveyor systems
    
    
  • Industrial washing machines
    
    
  • Linen presses
    
    
  • Dryers
    
    
  • Feeders, folders & ironers
    
    
  • Steam and chemical feed systems
    
    

Mechanical: 90-95%
Electrical: 5-10% (motors, contactors, sensors, testing & fault finding)

No PLC programming or robotics.

What We're Looking For

• Level 3 Engineering qualification (Level 2 considered)
  
  
• Mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing or production
  
  
• Basic electrical fault-finding skills
  
  
• Overseas qualifications welcomed
  
  

Shift Pattern

• 4 Days (06:00-18:00)
  
  
• 4 Off
  
  
• 4 Nights (18:00-06:00)
  
  
• 4 Off
  
  
• 12-hour shifts with 2 x 30-minute unpaid breaks
  
  

First four weeks are Monday-Friday days for training and induction.
