CNC Programmer

CNC ProgrammerLocation: Birmingham
Salary: £18.00 – £20.00 per hour (DOE)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm

A well-established precision engineering company in Birmingham is looking to recruit an experienced CNC Programmer to join its skilled machining team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable business producing high-quality precision components.

Key Responsibilities

• Program, set, and operate 3-axis and 4-axis CNC milling machines.
  
  
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to BS/ISO standards.
  
  
• Carry out first-off inspections, prove-outs, and quality checks.
  
  
• Inspect components using precision measuring equipment.
  
  
• Ensure work is completed to high quality standards and production deadlines.
  
  
• De-burr finished components and maintain a safe, organised work area.
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' experience programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines.
  
  
• At least 3 years' experience with 3-axis and 5-axis CNC mills.
  
  
• Strong knowledge of tooling and inspection equipment.
  
  
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
  
  
• Good CNC programming and computer skills.
  
  
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
