Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across manufacturing equipment.
- Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimise production downtime.
- Diagnose and repair both mechanical and electrical faults.
- Maintain hydraulic, pneumatic and automated systems.
- Ensure machinery is operating safely and efficiently.
- Work closely with production teams to maximise machine uptime.
- Record maintenance activities accurately.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with Health & Safety procedures.
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance skills.
- Experience working with hydraulics, pneumatics and automated machinery.
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A proactive approach with a commitment to keeping production running efficiently.
- A recognised engineering qualification would be advantageous.
- £43,000 per annum, paid hourly.
- Enhanced overtime rates after 40 hours worked.
