- Programme, set and operate CNC machinery
- Prove out new programs and make adjustments where required
- Optimise machining processes to improve efficiency and productivity
- Work with FANUC, HURCO and similar CNC control systems
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Manufacture precision components to tight tolerances
- Carry out quality inspections to ensure components meet required standards
- Support continuous improvement activities within the production environment
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to achieve production targets
- Minimum 3 years' CNC programming experience
- CNC Milling or CNC Turning (Lathe) experience considered
- Strong machining and manufacturing background
- Ability to set, run and prove out programs independently
- Good understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances
- Knowledge of FANUC, HURCO or similar control systems advantageous but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Positive and proactive approach to work
