Night Shift Production Team Leader – Glass Manufacturing

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production Team Leader to join a leading glass manufacturer on a permanent night shift.

This is a key leadership position responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production activities during the night shift, maintaining high standards of safety, quality, productivity, and team performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the night shift production team
  
  
• Ensure production schedules and customer requirements are achieved
  
  
• Drive productivity, quality, and waste reduction targets
  
  
• Maintain a strong health & safety culture across the shift
  
  
• Support employee development, training, and performance management
  
  
• Liaise with Maintenance and senior management to minimise downtime
  
  
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  
  
• Produce shift reports and communicate key operational updates
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Previous Team Leader, Shift Leader, or Production Supervisor experience within glass manufacturing
  
  
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams on nights
  
  
• Experience working to production KPIs and quality standards
  
  
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
  
  
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and health & safety requirements
  
  
• IOSH or similar qualification desirable

• Sunday to Thursday
  
  
• 22:00 – 06:00
