This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer with strong customer-facing skills who enjoys working independently and building long-term relationships with customers. The role offers a varied workload, combining technical service, preventative maintenance, fluid management, and customer support.

The RoleAs a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting customers using metalworking fluids and associated equipment, ensuring optimum performance and service levels across customer sites.
Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out onsite coolant checks and condition monitoring.
- Servicing and maintaining a range of industrial equipment.
- Supporting machine tool cleanout projects.
- Managing and monitoring cutting fluid trials.
- Assisting with CNC air-filter installations when required.
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Recording customer visits, service activities, and recommendations.
- Working closely with sales and technical teams to deliver customer solutions.
- Occasional overnight travel (typically 0–3 nights per month).
- Previous experience in a Field Service Engineer, Service Technician, Maintenance Engineer, Applications Engineer, or similar customer-facing engineering role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- The ability to work independently and manage a regional customer base.
- A full UK driving licence.
