Job Description

We have the exciting opportunity to join a global organization in the Bromsgrove area. This part of the business supply and distribute throughout the UK and Europe from SME business to blue chip organizations. As a Customer Service Executive you will be responsible for staying in contact with existing customers, proactively maintaining a relationship and reaching out to lapsed clients. The database of clients you will be required to speak to is warm and will have ordered previously therefore  the ideal candidate will have experience within an account manager, sales administration or sales target based role previously. You will be responsible for processing customer orders ensuring details are correct with realistic ETA’s based on stock levels to ensure an excellent customer service is always delivered.
 

Duties and Responsibilities:
 
  • Proactive and reactive sales and customer service calls.
  • Process customer purchase orders with high levels of attention to detail and liaison with relevant departments to ensure timely delivery of ordered products.
  • Developing new sales opportunities using outbound email, calls and lead follow ups.
  • Communicate with customers to understand their requirements and identify new sales opportunities.
  • Answering customer questions.
  • Advising customers on suitable product selection based on their specifications.
  • Explaining and upselling product functions and features (training will be provided).
  • Keep up to date with competitor product offerings.
  • Researching new leads.
  • Maintaining the company CRM to a high degree of accuracy.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and team members.
  • Assist and follow up customer enquiries via omnichannel, including web chat
  • Attend and represent the company at exhibitions.
 
Skills and Experience required:
 
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic to hit sales team targets.
  • Empathetic and totally customer service focussed.
  • Upselling and supporting the sales team.
  • Always looking for opportunities to continually improve personally and as a company.
  • Able to build and maintain strong relationships with customer and team.
  • Able to network.
  • Good organisation and planning skills.
  • Ability to perform under pressure.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Proactive and ambitious.
  • Diligent, reliable, flexible and punctual.
  • Knowledge of import/export is desirable.
 
 
This position if office based and full time Monday-Friday. No work from home available with this role. Holidays are 22 days plus bank holidays.
