Customer Service & Operations Coordinator
Location: Redditch 
Salary: £26,000 - £32,000 DOE
Hours: Monday to Friday, Full Time

Pertemps are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a successful and growing business for a Customer Service & Operations Coordinator. 

This position offers a varied workload where no two days are the same. You will be involved in supporting customers, processing orders, coordinating shipments, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across the business. This role would suit an organised and proactive individual who enjoys building relationships and taking ownership of tasks.

Key Responsibilities

•    Managing customer enquiries via telephone and email, providing a professional and efficient service.
•    Processing customer orders and ensuring information is entered accurately onto internal systems.
•    Producing invoices and supporting the order fulfilment process.
•    Keeping customers informed on lead times, deliveries, and order progress.
•    Arranging and coordinating UK and international shipments.
•    Preparing shipping documentation and liaising with freight providers.
•    Raising purchase orders and communicating with suppliers regarding stock availability and delivery schedules.
•    Supporting stock management activities and maintaining accurate records.
•    Handling product returns and warranty-related administration.
•    Updating CRM systems and maintaining customer records.
•    Producing operational reports and assisting with general administrative duties.
•    Working closely with internal teams to ensure customers receive a seamless service.

Candidate Requirements

•    Previous experience in a customer service, sales support, operations, or administrative role.
•    Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
•    Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
•    Confident working with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
•    Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
•    High attention to detail and accuracy.
•    A positive and flexible approach to work.
•    Ability to work independently whilst also contributing as part of a team.
