Role Summary

Do you enjoy upselling and building lasting customer relationships?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Customer Sales Advisor to play a key role in delivering outstanding service and contributing to the smooth running of the store. In this dynamic role, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers, supporting them day-to-day, maintaining high store standards, and maximising sales opportunities. You’ll also have the chance to take on added responsibility in the absence of management, making this a role where you can truly make an impact.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to customer enquiries both in person and over the phone, advising on available services and completing sales.
  • Maximise every sales opportunity to achieve store financial targets.
  • Complete administrative tasks accurately and in line with company procedures.
  • Maintain high standards of store presentation, cleanliness, and organisation.
  • Take on key-holder duties and lone working responsibilities in the absence of management.
  • Carry out forklifting duties where applicable (training provided if required).
  • Monitor and reduce store bad debt, implementing recovery procedures when necessary.
  • Support wider store operations and assist with ad hoc duties as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Previous customer service or sales experience (retail, hospitality, or service sector preferred).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to listen and respond effectively.
  • Ability to work within guidelines and procedures while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Experience working in a small team environment and comfortable adapting to lone work.
  • Confidence in learning and demonstrating knowledge of company products and services after training.
Personal Skills:
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, showing initiative and reliability.
  • Strong organisational skills and commitment to maintaining high store standards.
  • Target-driven mindset with the ability to achieve sales goals.
