A reputable and well established Shrewsbury based Architect Practice is looking to recruit an Architect to join the project team to deliver a professional service to their clients, consultants, contractors, third parties and suppliers

Key responsibilities include:
- Contract administration
- Calculate project costs, prepare fee schedules and financial management of project
- Attend regular meetings with clients, contractors and other specialists
- Attend site regularly to monitor progress
- Carry out Designer Risk Assessments (CDM)
- Carry out regular Design Reviews on all projects
- Co-ordinate with other consultants/specialists, negotiate with clients, disseminate information to team members, negotiate with statutory bodies and present a case to a committee and to work and co-ordinate with colleagues
- Manage a project team including their recruitment, performance management and development
- Prepare detailed design drawings from which costings are made, working drawings and schedules and specifications, using 2D, 3D Autodesk and 3D rendering packages
- Prepare Health and Safety Risk assessments and carry out measured surveys
- Prepare tender bids, submissions and planning applications and presentations

Candidates must be
- Parts I-III qualified and currently registered with the Architects' Registration Board
- Chartered Member, RIBA
- Minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience gained within an architectural practice, preferably in the UK
- Able to competently use 2D, 3D Autodesk and 3D rendering packages and Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel and Outlook
- Able to prepare detailed design and working drawings and schedules and prepare specifications
