Social Media & Digital Content Creator
Location: Remote, anywhere across Wales - occasional office attendance required.
Pay: £19.54 per hour
Assignment length: Temporary until 31 March 2027
Start Date: ASAP

Are you a creative digital marketing professional with a passion for producing engaging content and growing online audiences? We're recruiting on behalf of a well respected public sector organisation for an experienced Social Media & Digital Content Creator to join their communications team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work remotely from anywhere in Wales while supporting an organisation that makes a real difference. The position is offered on a temporary basis until 31 March 2027, paying £19.54 per hour. 

Although the role is primarily home based, occasional travel to offices across Wales will be required.

The Role

As the Social Media & Digital Content Creator, you'll be responsible for creating engaging digital content, managing social media channels and using analytics to maximise engagement and reach. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders to develop campaigns, create compelling content and ensure messaging is consistent across all digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create high quality digital content for a range of social media platforms including LinkedIn, X, Instagram and other social media channels

    • Plan, schedule and publish engaging content across multiple platforms

    • Monitor, analyse and report on social media performance, using insights to improve engagement and campaign effectiveness

    • Develop creative campaigns that increase audience reach and interaction

    • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to promote key initiatives and projects

    • Ensure content reflects brand guidelines and organisational values

    • Keep up to date with social media trends and digital best practice

About You

We're looking for someone who has:
  • Previous experience in a Social Media, Digital Content or Digital Marketing role

    • Proven experience creating engaging content across multiple social media platforms

    • Experience using social media analytics to measure performance and drive improvements

    • Excellent written communication and content creation skills

    • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

    • Experience using content creation and scheduling tools would be advantageous

    • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel occasionally to offices across Wales

    • Welsh language skills are highly desirable
