Admin Assistant
Location: Newport
Pay: £14.06 per hour
Assignment: Temporary Ongoing
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm
Full training provided, with hybrid working available following the training period.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our client's team on a temporary ongoing basis.
What will you be doing?
As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide essential administrative support, helping to ensure the smooth day to day running of the department.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Monitoring and raising notices and permits
• Managing inspections, notifications, directions and other transactions with external authorities
• Supporting the business with all aspects of notices, permits and compliance documentation
• Liaising with external authorities, planning teams, operational teams and contractors
• Acting as the main point of contact for daily enquiries from both internal and external stakeholders
What are we looking for?
We're looking for someone who has:
• Strong organisational and administrative skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good numerical ability and attention to detail
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Good analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively
