Administrator
Location: Remote, Wales
Pay Rate: £15.59 per hour
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Assignment Length: Temporary assignment until 31 March 2027 minimum
Working Pattern: Remote
Start Date: ASAP
Are you an experienced Administrator with strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail?
We're recruiting for an Administrator to join a public sector organisation, providing important administrative and business support across the team.
This is a varied role that would suit someone with a strong administration background who is confident using Microsoft applications, handling information and communicating with colleagues. You will need to be comfortable reviewing information, taking accurate minutes and turning detailed notes into clear and concise internal briefing notes.
What you'll be doing
• Providing general administrative and business support to the team
• Taking accurate minutes during meetings and discussions
• Reviewing meeting notes and other information
• Producing clear and concise internal briefing notes
• Reviewing, summarising and condensing information
• Preparing accurate documents, correspondence and records
• Chasing internal colleagues for outstanding information and documentation
• Communicating with colleagues to obtain updates and required information
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring information is kept up to date
• Supporting the team with a range of administrative tasks
• Using Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Organising information and documentation effectively
• Managing multiple administrative tasks and prioritising workloads
• Ensuring documents and information are accurate and presented professionally
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation
• Supporting other administrative tasks and projects as required
What we're looking for
• Strong previous administrative experience
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Confident using Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to take accurate meeting minutes
• The ability to review and condense information into clear and concise notes
• Experience producing briefing notes, reports or similar documentation would be advantageous
• Good IT skills and confidence learning new systems
• A proactive approach to chasing information and communicating with colleagues
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
• Professional and confident when communicating with internal stakeholders
• Reliable, organised and able to work effectively as part of a wider team
