Job Description

Hygiene Operative

We are seeking a dedicated and thorough Hygiene Operative to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene standards of our facilities in our Wellingborough warehouse. This is a crucial role in ensuring a safe and compliant working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform deep cleaning of designated areas, machinery, and equipment according to established schedules and hygiene protocols.
  • Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Handle and store cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly.
  • Report any maintenance issues, damage, or hygiene concerns to the supervisor promptly.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures related to hygiene, safety, and operational standards.
  • Assist with waste management and disposal.
  • Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities as required.

Working Hours & Pay:
  • Hours: Full-time, 45 hours per week
  • Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
  • Shift Times: 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM (Night Shift)
  • Pay Rate: £15 per hour

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a cleaning or hygiene role, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and hygiene standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Physical fitness, as the role involves manual handling and standing for long periods.
  • Reliability and punctuality are essential.
