About the Role
Our client is looking for a proactive, commercially-minded Conveyancing Manager to lead our Residential Property team. You'll oversee a team of case handlers and support staff, drive high service standards, and play a key role in client and stakeholder relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership
Lead the day-to-day operations of the conveyancing team
Supervise and support staff with complex legal matters
Promote collaboration, engagement, and continuous improvement
Ensure compliance with SRA and internal regulatory standards
Operational & Process Oversight
Oversee caseloads and ensure efficient file progression
Monitor risk and compliance, supporting high-quality outcomes
Ensure workload is distributed effectively and KPIs are met
Client & Stakeholder Relationships
Build strong relationships with clients, estate agents, and referrers
Act as the key point of contact for partners and referral networks
Support marketing and business development initiatives
Reporting & Performance
Monitor team performance and identify areas for improvement
Provide strategic insights and regular updates to senior leadership
About You
Essential
Strong knowledge of residential conveyancing processes
Previous experience managing or supervising a legal team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Commercial awareness and a solution-focused mindset
Organised, proactive, and approachable leadership style
Desirable
Experience with legal case management systems
Proven ability to build and maintain referral networks
Awareness of legal risk and compliance frameworks
