Job Description
Job title: Student Safety Team Member
Start date: ASAP
End Date: 30/09/26 (could be extended)
Shifts: 37.5hrs per week (5 days out of 7)
Shift time: 10pm – 7am
Hourly Rate: £16.66ph
Student safety team member required for Student accommodaion sites in Durham.
Key Responsibilities:

Student safety team member required for Student accommodaion sites in Durham.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a positive brand ambassador.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for students.
- Maintain consistent, high-quality service throughout the night.
- Keep students and the building safe, responding to emergencies and vulnerable situations.
- Handle overnight incidents, including noise complaints, lock-outs, fire alarms, flooding, and system failures.
- Work with security to protect residents and the property.
- Keep shared areas clean and tidy.
- Support other properties during major incidents when required.
- Build relationships with students and signpost them to appropriate support.
- Respond to individual student needs and escalate welfare concerns when necessary.
- Act on student feedback and resolve or escalate issues promptly.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Complete required safety checks and respond appropriately to emergencies.
- Maintain a clean, well-maintained environment.
