Job Description
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Purchasing Administrator to join a leading manufacturing client based in the NG15 area on a Temporary basis.
As a Purchasing Administrator you will be expected to undertake the following duties:
  • Assist the Purchasing Team with general administration
  • Placement of Purchase Orders for supply materials/finished goods, consumables and services.
  • Working closely with Buyers and Purchasing Manager to enable placement of orders
  • To ensure that Purchase orders are placed in a timely manner
  • To expedite Purchase Orders as required to support the business needs
Key Skills:
  • IT Literate, familiar with MRP processes and intermediate skills in Excel.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Flexibility in work approach and ability to prioritise.
  • The ability to take the initiative and the confidence to work independently.
  • Strong numeracy and Numerically astute.
  • Purchasing/supply chain background is ideal
Working hours Mon-Thur 8am - 5pm, Fri 8am - 1pm
Pay rate £12.32p/h
