Job Description
Hours of Work:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pm
- Friday: 7:00am – 1:00pm
- 40 hours per week
- £12.21 per hour
- Picking, packing, and preparing goods for despatch
- Operating overhead crane and forklift
- Using chop saws and nail guns to prepare and secure products for shipment
- Ensuring orders are correctly labelled, packaged, and ready for collection
- Completing general data input and despatch documentation accurately
- Loading and unloading goods safely
- Liaising with internal departments to resolve despatch or delivery queries
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised despatch area
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in despatch, warehouse, or manufacturing environments
- Experience using forklifts, cranes and production tools
- Computer literate with good attention to detail
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Able to use initiative and troubleshoot where required
- Good communication skills and a positive team attitude
- Temp to perm opportunity with long-term stability
- Option to be paid weekly OR monthly while temporary
- Early finish on Fridays
- Ongoing support from a dedicated recruitment consultant
