FLT Driver Rotating Shifts

Role: FLT Counterbalance Driver (Rotating Shifts)
Location: Dudley
Hours of work: Monday to Thursday: 05.40am to 1.50pm and Friday: 5.40am to 11.30am/ Monday to Thursday: 1.40pm to 9.50pm and Friday: 11.20am to 5.10pm.
Pay Rate: £12.71ph (First 12 weeks) increasing to £14.24ph 


Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver to join our client in Dudley, an leading manufacturer within the plastics industry. This is a fast-paced role to help support within the warehouse and production teams. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for long-term, ongoing work within a supportive and friendly environment. 


Key Responsibilities:

• Operating FLT Counterbalance trucks safely in line with site procedures.
• Loading and unloading deliveries, including raw materials and finished plastic components.
• Transporting materials between warehouse, storage areas, and production lines.
• Ensuring production lines are consistently stocked to avoid downtime.
• Stacking and storing pallets in designated locations, including racking systems.
• Carrying out daily FLT checks and reporting any defects.
• Assisting with goods-in and goods-out processes, including checking deliveries against paperwork.
• Using scanners or basic systems to track stock movements (if applicable).
• Supporting stock control, including pallet counts and location checks.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Working to targets and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

Key Requirements:

• Valid, in-date FLT Counterbalance licence (essential).
• Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Good understanding of health & safety practices.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible

• Morning Shift: Monday to Thursday - 5.40am to 1.50pm and Friday - 5.40am to 11.30am
• Afternoon Shift: Monday to Thursday - 1.40pm to 9.50pm and Friday - 11.20am to 5.10pm

Pay Rates:

• £12.71ph (first 12 weeks)
• £14.24ph (after 12 weeks)
