Job Description

Role: Welder Fabricator 
Location: Dudley
Hours: Monday to Friday 6am to 2.30pm
Pay Rate: £14ph to £15ph (DOE)

We are recruiting an experienced Welder Fabricator to join a well-established manufacturer specialising in high-quality aluminium and alloy fabrication solutions. Serving a diverse range of industries, the company has built a strong reputation for precision engineering, innovation, and delivering bespoke metalwork projects to the highest standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional with MIG and TIG welding experience to become part of a growing team in a modern production environment.
 


Key Responsibilities:
  • MIG and TIG welding to a high standard on aluminium, stainless steel, and other materials.
    • Fabrication and assembly of metal components from engineering drawings and technical specifications.
    • Measuring, marking out, cutting, shaping, and fitting materials to precise tolerances.
    • Operating fabrication equipment and hand tools safely and effectively.
    • Carrying out quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process to ensure products meet customer and company standards.
    • Working on bespoke and batch production projects across a variety of industries.
    • Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised working environment in line with health and safety procedures.
    • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and contributing to efficient production processes.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a Welder Fabricator role within a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
    • Strong MIG and TIG welding skills, ideally with experience working on aluminium and alloy products.
    • Ability to read, interpret, and work from engineering drawings and technical plans.
    • Experience using fabrication machinery and a range of workshop tools.
    • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
    • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to meet production deadlines.
    • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to workplace safety.
