Location: Kingswinford

Salary: £13–£15 per hour

Shift: 2pm–10pm Monday to Friday

 

Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Roll Forming Setter Operator to join a busy manufacturing company based in Kingswinford.

 

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous roll forming, machine setting or manufacturing experience looking for a long-term role with the potential to become permanent.

 

The Role

 

As a Roll Forming Setter Operator, your duties will include:

• Setting and operating roll forming machinery
  
  
• Producing components to required specifications
  
  
• Setting machinery and changing tooling when required
  
  
• Loading raw materials into machinery
  
  
• Monitoring the production process
  
  
• Carrying out quality checks and measurements
  
  
• Making adjustments to machinery to maintain product quality
  
  
• Working from technical drawings and specifications
  
  
• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment
  
  
• Following company health & safety procedures
  
  

 

The Ideal Candidate

 

The successful Roll Forming Setter Operator will ideally have:

• Previous experience setting and operating roll forming machinery
  
  
• Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
  
  
• Good understanding of machinery setting and production processes
  
  
• Ability to read technical drawings
  
  
• Good attention to detail
  
  
• Ability to carry out quality checks
  
  
• A proactive approach to problem solving
  
  
• Good communication and teamwork skills
  
  

 

Previous roll forming experience is preferred, although candidates with strong machine setting experience within manufacturing may also be considered.
