£17.00 per hour

Pertemps Sheffield is currently recruiting HGV Class 1 Night Drivers for regular, ongoing work with a leading logistics company.
The Role
- Monday to Friday
- Night shifts starting between 2:00pm and 6:00pm
- Regular ongoing work
- A mix of trunking between RDCs, store deliveries and RDC-to-store deliveries
- Complete vehicle checks before each shift
- Ensure all delivery paperwork and PODs are completed accurately
- Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism
- Comply with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and tachograph regulations
- Follow all site health and safety procedures
- Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
- Valid Driver CPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 6 months' Class 1 driving experience
- No more than 6 penalty points (no DD or DR convictions)
- Good knowledge of Driver Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Reliable with a professional attitude and excellent communication skills
- Successful applicants will be required to pass a driving assessment before starting work.
