Logistics & Inventory Co-OrdinatorLocation: Edinburgh / surrounding area, with occasional travel to UK client sites and suppliers
Salary: £35,000
Working Hours: 40 hours per week (8 hours per day including 1-hour lunch break)
Driving Licence: Required
Contract: Permanent
About the RoleAn experienced Logistics & Inventory Co-Ordinator is required to support logistics operations, working closely with warehouse teams, clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
The successful candidate will manage UK freight coordination, inventory processes, and customer communication while ensuring accuracy and efficiency across all activities.
Key RequirementsProven experience in logistics coordination and inventory management.
Excellent computer and software skills, including strong experience with Outlook and Excel.
Experience implementing or using inventory management software (Point of Rental experience preferred).
Strong UK freight forwarding experience required; international freight forwarding experience desirable.
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, clients, and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
Negotiate UK freight rates with suppliers and carriers.
Arrange UK inbound and outbound freight bookings.
Provide national freight rates to design and commercial teams for quoting purposes.
Maintain accurate records of expected and actual UK shipping dates.
Provide regular updates to UK clients regarding delivery and shipping schedules.
Prepare and issue all required documentation to clients, including Certificates of Conformity (CoCs).
Support inventory management processes, including monthly rolling stock takes with the warehouse team.
Oversee UK rental stock and related logistics activities.
Work closely with warehouse teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
