Job Description
📍 Location: Edinburgh EH8 9AN
💷 Pay Rate: £12.90 per hour
🗓 Contract Length: 4 weeks
⏰ Shifts: 7am–3pm or 2pm–10pm (5 days out of 7, including weekends)
📅 Start Date: ASAP
We are looking for a friendly, professional Receptionist to join our team on a short-term contract. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys providing excellent customer service, is confident handling a variety of tasks, and is happy to work shifts and weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcoming visitors and managing general reception desk duties
- Maintaining a sign-in/out log for contractors and visitors
- Resolving door lock issues when required (training provided)
- Responding to fire alarms and conducting safety checks (training provided)
- Carrying out Means of Escape walks to ensure fire exits remain clear
- Assisting with ad hoc cleaning/tidying duties as needed

- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Confidence to act in emergency situations (training provided)
- Flexibility to work shifts and weekends
- Reliable, approachable, and proactive attitude
