Our highly respected public sector client based in Cardonald, require a Senior Administrator on a temporary basis until June 2020. The salary for the position is £11.32 per hour. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm.
Main Duties and Responsibilities of the Role
To coordinate and administrate the Nursing and Care directorate
To provide administrative, secretarial support and diary management for the Head of Clinical Governance and Quality Improvement and Deputy Director of Nursing and Care.
To manage appointments, schedule meetings, issue papers, agendas, and take formal minutes which will be published and made available out with the organisation. The post holder will be required to communicate with group members and attendees.
Support and Manage the Clinical Governance & Quality Improvement and Nursing and Care workstreams
Support project management activities, preparation of agenda, collating and distribution of reports, attendance and participation at meetings, high level and accurate formal minute taking, recording and following up on action points, maintaining plans and risk and issue registers.
Support the development of clinical governance and Nursing and Care systems and processes ensuring national learning and sharing of good practice resulting from complaints, comments, partner feedback, and surveys.
Support, plan and manage all cross-cover arrangements for the administrative functions of all elements of the Nursing and Care Directorate during times of high capacity and leave timeously reporting any issues or shortfalls to the Head of Clinical Governance and Quality Improvement
Support other Nursing and Care teams by providing cover as required e.g. Public Protection, Patient Experience and CG&QI administration and Outlier support
Provide support in capturing, documenting, measuring and cascading all organisational learning as required. The post holder will communicate with and to senior management and frontline staff effectively any learning identified and support the service to ensure this is disseminated effectively e.g. via cascading the weekly Hot Topics.
Generate Purchase Orders and processing invoices to assist in the control of associated Departmental budgets and processing financial information.
Relevant HNC qualification and/or equivalent work related experience
General Administrative experience within an office environment.
Excellent IT skills to include knowledge and practical application of MS Office and the use of databases and spreadsheets, Strong planning and organisational skills, to schedule meetings, issue papers and agenda, and take and circulate formal minutes.
