Our client, a growing multidisciplinary engineering consultancy, is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Senior/Principal Civil Engineer to lead the delivery of highways and infrastructure projects across the commercial, residential, healthcare, and education sectors.

You will lead the design and management of highway and drainage schemes, mentor junior engineers, and manage projects from planning through to construction.

The Role
You will lead the design and management of highway and drainage schemes, mentor junior engineers, and manage projects from planning through to construction.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading highway and infrastructure design projects across the UK.
- Designing highways in accordance with Local Authority guidance, Manual for Streets, etc
- Delivering highway drainage designs in line with Sewerage Sector Guidance and SuDS requirements.
- Producing technical reports, fee proposals and tender submissions.
- Liaising with clients, contractors, local authorities and statutory bodies.
- Managing S278, S38 and S104 adoption agreements.
- Strong drainage design experience
- Strong knowledge of UK highway design standards and Local Authority/National Highways requirements.
- Experience with S278, S38 and S104 agreements.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Civils 3D, Site 3D, Causeway Flow/InfoDrainage,
- Experience producing designs from planning through to construction.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and business development skills.
