Their Leeds team is heavily involved in high-profile local developments, offering the opportunity to work on projects you can physically see taking shape across the city.

The RoleThey are looking to appoint a Civil Engineer to join their Leeds office, supporting a growing pipeline of work across multiple sectors.
You’ll be part of a collaborative civils team, gaining exposure to both technical delivery and project management, while also supporting junior team members.
This role offers a strong balance of hands-on design, client interaction, and career development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design of drainage and infrastructure for development projects
    • Preparation of:
      • Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) designs
      • Drainage strategies and supporting reports
    • Production of drainage networks using Civil 3D
    • Liaison with local authorities, design teams, and stakeholders
    • Support multidisciplinary project coordination
    • Mentor apprentices and graduate engineers

What They’re Looking For
  • Experience in civil engineering design (consultancy environment)
    • Strong drainage design capability (SuDS focus)
    • Proficiency with Civil 3D for drainage networks
    • Comfortable working with stakeholders and design teams
    • Interest in working across multiple sectors (public & private)
    • Working towards chartership (ICE, CIWEM or similar)

Desirable Experience
  • Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs)
    • Highways design
    • Earthworks / levels design
    • Multidisciplinary coordination
