Have you recently graduated and are looking for your first opportunity in practice? Or are you a Junior Architectural Technologist looking for a new opportunity?

An established multidisciplinary consultancy in Bristol is looking for an enthusiastic Graduate Architectural Technologist to join their Retail & Commercial team. The consultancy has been operating successfully for over 50 years, with an outstanding reputation for staff retention, many employees have built long term careers, supported by structured mentoring and clear progression routes.

This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a supportive practice, working alongside experienced Architects and Technologists on live projects for major national clients. You’ll be given genuine project exposure while developing your technical skills and understanding of how projects progress from design through to delivery.

The Role:

  • Supporting Architects and Technologists across live projects
    • Producing and developing architectural drawings and technical information
    • Building your understanding of detailing and construction
    • Learning to use project and drawing standards within a professional environment
    • Supporting the preparation of design and technical packages
    • Attending site visits and project meetings where appropriate
    • Developing your understanding of UK Building Regulations
    • Working collaboratively with different disciplines across the wider business
What We’re Looking For:
  • Studying towards or recently completed a qualification in Architectural Technology or a related discipline
    • Placement-year students and recent graduates both considered
    • Good CAD and general IT skills
    • Revit experience would be beneficial
    • An interest in technical design and how buildings are put together
    • Enthusiastic, organised and keen to learn
    • Strong communication skills and comfortable working as part of a team
