A growing transport planning and infrastructure consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Transport Planner to join its Cambridge team due to continued project growth across residential, mixed-use and infrastructure-led developments.
This opportunity would suit a transport planner looking for broader technical exposure, greater project responsibility and the chance to work within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.

The RoleYou’ll support the delivery of development-led transport planning projects from early-stage feasibility through to planning support and technical delivery, working closely with clients, local authorities and design teams.
Typical responsibilities include:

• Preparation of Transport Assessments & Transport Statements
• Travel Plans and supporting planning documentation
• Junction capacity assessments and transport strategy support
• Development-led transport planning across residential and mixed-use schemes
• Stakeholder, client and local authority liaison
• Supporting multidisciplinary infrastructure and active travel projects
• Assisting with project coordination and technical delivery

Ideal Background

• UK consultancy experience within transport planning
• Experience delivering development-led transport planning projects
• Knowledge of Transport Assessments, Travel Plans and junction modelling
• Strong stakeholder communication and client-facing skills
• Experience working across residential and mixed-use developments
• Ambitious individual looking for long-term progression and broader project exposure
