Production Operative

We are currently seeking an Multiskilled Operative to join a small engineering company, based on the outskirts of Lincoln. As an Multiskilled Operative, you’ll be a vital part of the production team, machining, crafting and assembling a variety of steel products in a worksop environment.
 
This is a great opportunity to join a respected local company. Permanent contracts will be offered to staff after successfully completing the probationary period. This is usually after 12 weeks.
 
What will I be paid?

Hourly rate: £13:00 - £13.50 per hour.
 
What hours will I be working?
 
Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 5:00pm
 
What will I be doing as an Assembly Operative?

• Machining metal components to specifications
• Using mechanical and / or laser saws
• Reading and accurately interpreting drawings and instructions
• Utilising a variety of hand tools, machinery, and equipment
• Reporting any issues or discrepancies to supervisors promptly

What skills and experience do I need?

• Competent English and numeracy skills
• Experience with tools and equipment
• Experience in assembly, repair, maintenance, manufacturing preferred
• Reliable transport to reach site
