Job Description
Pertemps are currently recruiting for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers to work for one of the region’s biggest brands with regular, reliable, well-planned work. You will be required to carry out trunking runs to Tesco distribution centres. This role is ideal for drivers who want steady trunking, no handball, and modern, clean trucks.
The Job
- Refrigerated trunk runs to RDCs nationwide
- Not multi-drop – usually one delivery per shift
- Shifts available Friday to Monday, start times between 16:00–20:00
- A supportive transport team available 24/7
- Regular ongoing work all year round
- Great pay rates: £17.50hph – Monday to Friday, £20.00ph – Saturday, £20.50ph – Sunday
- 10-hour minimum pay each shift (average shift 12 hours)
- Paid breaks – get paid while you rest
- New, clean, modern fleet – fridge units
- No handball – reverse onto the bay and relax while they tip
- Consistent routes & start times
- Opportunities for training, development, and temp-to-perm contracts
