HGV Class 1 Driver (Trunking)

Pertemps are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join the established DHL contract based in Scunthorpe, delivering essential perishable goods to destinations across the UK. 

This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers looking for consistent work in a straightforward driving role. The position involves trunking only, with no handball, multidrop or manual unloading required, allowing you to concentrate on what you do best – driving.


What will I be paid? 

• Weekdays, £16.48ph overtime paid at £21.92 after 42 hours.
• Weekends, £18.54ph  

What shifts are available?

• Shifts available – Thursday to Sunday 
• Flexible start times throughout the day
• Full-time and part-time opportunities available

 Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) Licence
• Valid Driver CPC Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Maximum of 6 penalty points (no DR10, CD10 or IN10 endorsements)
• Good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Regulations
• Reliable and professional approach to work
