Our client, a well-established and respected manufacturer of concrete products based near Penrith, is seeking a Manufacturing Operative to join their growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a large UK organisation while working within a friendly, close-knit site team where your contribution will truly make a difference.

The Role

    • Supervising the operation of the production lines
    • Ensuring products are manufactured safely and to the required quality standards
    • Assisting with machine operation and production activities
    • Working closely with a small team to achieve production targets
    • Maintaining a safe and efficient working environment
    • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience within a manufacturing, production, or machine operative environment
    • Has a positive, can-do attitude and is willing to get involved where required
    • Enjoys working as part of a small team
    • Is safety-conscious and takes pride in producing quality work
    • Is reliable, motivated, and eager to learn
Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within manufacturing.

What's on Offer?
  • Monday to Friday working hours – 6:30am to 3:00pm
    • Full training and ongoing development
    • Clear progression route into a Supervisory role and eventually Site Management
    • Excellent company benefits
    • Stable employment with a large and successful UK business
    • Friendly and supportive working environment
    • Genuine long-term career prospects
    • From £30,000 per annum, with a view to increase after training
If you're looking for a role where you can develop your skills, take on responsibility, and progress your career within a successful manufacturing business, we'd love to hear from you.
