Shift: 4on 4off 
Hours:  6am – 6pm
Contract: Temp - Perm

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Shift Supervisor to join our client based in Deeside. As a Warehouse Shift Supervisor, you will assume a critical role in overseeing the daily operations of our client's warehouse during assigned shifts. You will lead a team of warehouse associates, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and in strict compliance with company standards and safety regulations. Our client is seeking an individual with strong leadership abilities, exceptional communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse operations to excel in this role.

Main Job Role:

• To understand the daily tasks for both production & hygiene.
• To be responsible for the safe & efficient running of all production lines, with the assistance of packing operative reportees. 
• To gain good understanding of the operation of all production equipment, and to be able to make adjustments to equipment to ensure performance levels are maintained. 
• To achieve daily production targets as set out by the owners.
• To manage daily cleaning regime and keep appropriate records for audit trail purposes.
• To maintain production efficiency and to manage waste levels, especially packaging, to a minimum.
• To train shift staff members to a high level of competency.
• Continuous motivation of production / packaging staff members to achieve the highest possible production levels and quality of finished product plus manage cleaning regime on an “as you go” basis.
• To maintain efficient and accurate records of daily production & weight checks.
• To manage raw material & other goods in information for the site to ensure order patterns are maintained.
• To develop personal knowledge of the business focus and plans.
• Commitment to continuous improvement in regard to mechanical equipment repairs and related issues.
• Responsible for ensuring the high standards of quality, hygiene and general cleanliness of the facility during shift.
• To generate ideas / plans for improving production, efficiencies and reducing waste further.

Skills & Knowledge needed:

• Experience: Must have at least 3 years’ experience in working within a warehouse, with supervisory experience preferred.
• Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Communication: Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve operational issues efficiently.
• Organization: Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to safety.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
• Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with others.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in relevant software applications.
