Administrator / Production Support Operative

Location: Wrexham
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 16:00

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and organised Administrator / Production Support Operative to join our client’s friendly and growing team in Wrexham.

This is a varied role combining general administration and production support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working in an office environment but is also happy to get involved on the production floor as and when required.

You will provide day-to-day administrative support to senior management, helping to ensure the smooth running of the business, while also supporting the production team during busy periods or when additional assistance is required.

Key ResponsibilitiesAdministration
  • Providing general administrative support to senior management and the wider team.

    • Managing diaries and scheduling meetings on behalf of senior management.

    • Organising appointments, meetings and other internal arrangements.

    • Completing and maintaining employee timesheets and rotas.

    • Assisting with staff scheduling and coordinating shift requirements.

    • Maintaining accurate records, spreadsheets and other administrative documentation.

    • Responding to emails and general enquiries in a professional manner.

    • Preparing documents, reports and other information as required.

    • Supporting senior management with general day-to-day administrative tasks.

    • Liaising with staff across the business to ensure information is communicated effectively.

    • Maintaining confidentiality when dealing with company and employee information.

Production SupportAs and when required, you will also support the production team with:

  • Assisting with production and assembly processes.

    • Operating machinery safely and efficiently, with training provided.

    • Checking finished products to ensure quality standards are met.

    • Packing and preparing items for dispatch.

    • Maintaining a clean and organised work area.

    • Supporting the team to meet daily production targets.

    • Following company procedures and workplace health and safety requirements.

Requirements
  • Previous administration experience is preferred.

    • Previous production or manufacturing experience would be advantageous.

    • Printing experience would be beneficial but is not essential.

    • Good organisational and time-management skills.

    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

    • Confident using computers and standard office software.

    • Good communication skills and a professional approach.

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    • Flexible approach and willingness to support production when required.

    • Reliable, punctual and hardworking.

    • Basic understanding of workplace health and safety.
