Job Title: HGV 1 (C+E) PM Driver - Royal Mail (Swindon)
Location: Swindon
Pay: £21.57 - £24.61 per hour

Pertemps, in partnership with the Royal Mail - the UK's trusted Universal Postal Service Provider - is seeking experienced HGV 1 (C+E) Drivers to join their Swindon Distribution Centre and help deliver Christmas 2025 across the nation.

This role is perfect if you want reliable hours, competitive pay, and the chance to be part of something special this festive season. You'll be trunking parcels and mail between Royal Mail depots nationwide - with minimal manual handling and shifts planned 1 week in advance for your convenience.

What we're looking for:

• Valid HGV 1 licence held for a minimum of 1 year with 6 months proven commercial driving experience
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Cards are essential
• No more than 6 penalty points for minor endorsements (No DD/DR/IN/CD or TT endorsements)
• Due to the nature of the work willingness to work weekend shifts
• Excellent geographical knowledge and professional attitude
• Strong understanding of WTD and driver hours
• Confident completing manual tachograph entries
• Ability to pass a DBS security check
• Successful completion of site assessment and induction before first shift
