Job Description
Pertemps is currently recruiting Repair Operative to work at one of Royal Mail's busy mail processing centres. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established organisation in a fast-paced warehouse environment, with flexible shifts and competitive pay.
Your Role
Your Role
- Pick, pack, weigh, and label products based on daily orders.
- Ensure all packages are properly packaged and sealed.
- Meet the specifics of customer orders in a timely manner.
- Log relevant shipping, order, and label paperwork.
- Selects and package products for shipment based on customer orders.
- Uses technology, including smartphones and handheld devices, to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
- Handles, installs, positions, and moves materials to optimize inventory and meet customer orders.
- Compares invoices to items received to ensure that incoming shipments are correct. Keeps products separated, organized, and in good rotation.
- Follows safety protocols and reports problems to mitigate safety issues.
- Good level of physical fitness – this is a hands-on, active role.
- Attention to detail and strong work ethic.
- Flexibility to work weekends and additional shifts.
- Must pass a criminal background check (DBS) before start.
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00-16:00.
- Pay Rate: £13.02
- Duration of Assignment: until 02/10/2026.
