A fantastic opportunity is available for a Finance Administration Assistant to work on assignment at one of the UK's leading utility companies National Grid within Warwick.

We are looking for an employee to join our highly effective expanding team who show commitment and dedication to providing an excellent service as well as being tenacious and methodical at all times.

Job Purpose

Successful candidates are required to assist the Finance team by undertaking administration duties to support the Finance team within Procurement.

Experience Required

A good, working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel skills (data interpretation, manipulation and pivot tables are beneficial within Microsoft Excel)
Experience of working within a previous financial environment or similar relevant work history is essential (i.e. SAP systems, journaling, accrual management, invoice validation, Coupa systems, purchase orders, Purchase Ledger)
Logical thinking with the ability to resolve problems quickly and effectively using your own initiative
Data input skills (speed and accuracy)
Administration experience, in particular experience of; Meeting facilitation, Diary management, Travel booking, Minute taking
Good time management & prioritisation skills
An excellent communicator, able to work and adapt with different stakeholders.
Self-motivating, able to work alone and within a team.
Logical thinking with the ability to resolve problems quickly and effectively using your own initiative

Key Tasks within the role:

" Invoice validation
" Receipting updates and audit compliance checks
" Raising Purchase Orders
" Internal System updates
" Timesheeting collation
" M.I and reporting
" Adhoc administration tasks to support the wider team
" Email and telephone query management
" Responsibility for Internal system updates ensuring accuracy at all times
