Production Operator
Location: Banbury
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Full-time, rotating three shift pattern, Days, Afternoon & Nights
Contract: Temporary ongoing, with potential permanent opportunities
We are recruiting Production Operators to join a well-established manufacturer of plastic household, garden and storage products supplied to major retailers across the UK.
This is a clean, modern production environment, with work that is generally lighter than many traditional manufacturing roles. Full training will be provided, and there are ongoing opportunities for reliable people who demonstrate a strong work ethic.
Shift pattern
You must be able to work all three shifts, rotating weekly in the following order:

Previous machine-operating or production experience would be beneficial, but it is not essential.

- Days: 6:00am–2:00pm
- Nights: 10:00pm–6:00am
- Afternoons: 2:00pm -10:00pm
Your duties will include:
- Operating and monitoring production machinery
- Removing finished plastic products from the production line
- Trimming and removing excess plastic from products
- Checking products for quality and defects
- Stacking finished items safely onto pallets
- Keeping your work area clean and organised
- Following production instructions and health and safety procedures
- Communicating clearly with colleagues and supervisors
You do not need previous manufacturing experience, as full training will be provided.
Previous machine-operating or production experience would be beneficial, but it is not essential.
You must be:
- Able to work the full rotating three-shift pattern
- Reliable, punctual and committed
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
- Able to communicate clearly in English
- Able to read and understand written instructions
- Able to complete basic production paperwork accurately
- Safety-conscious and able to work well as part of a team
